SUPATUFF STRONG DOG LEASH RANGE

SUPATUFF® STRONG DOG LEASH RANGE

Strong dogs test every part of a leash: the webbing, the stitching, the clip and the handle. A Rottweiler that hits the end of the lead with the full weight of 50 kilograms behind it. A Staffy that pulls from the first step. A Bull Terrier who turns a walk into a negotiation. A leash that was not built for that is the first thing to fail.

Rogue Royalty’s SupaTuff dog leashes are built with SupaTuff webbing and stainless steel hardware, with no plastic fittings. Choose a 120cm Standard leash, a 120cm Heavy Duty bull snap leash, a 60cm or 30cm short handle leash for close control, a 6ft training leash or the 6-in-1 multifunction training leash. Every SupaTuff leash carries a lifetime guarantee. See our guarantees page for what it covers.

Which SupaTuff leash is right for your dog?

Five types of leash cover most needs. Here is how to find yours quickly.

SupaTuff Standard 120cm is the everyday leash. It uses 25mm double-ply webbing, a leather-padded handle and a stainless steel D-shackle clip, with stainless steel hardware throughout. Best for daily walks with a strong dog when you want reliable control without extra bulk.

SupaTuff Heavy Duty 120cm steps up to 30mm webbing and a stainless steel bull snap clip. It has the same leather-padded handle, box-stitched and reinforced at the handle, head latch and joins. Best for the hardest pullers and for large, powerful breeds such as Rottweilers, Staffies and German Shepherds.

SupaTuff 60cm and SupaTuff 30cm short handle leashes are for close control. Both use 30mm webbing and a stainless steel bull snap. The 30cm short handle is made for busy urban environments, training and other situations where close-range handling matters.

SupaTuff 6ft Training Leash gives you about 183cm of length with a padded leather handle for training sessions and longer walks. The SupaTuff 6-in-1 Multifunction Leash is a 120cm leash that works as a long leash, a standard leash, a two-dog leash, a hands-free leash, a tie-out and a two-point attachment for a harness and collar together.

The SupaTuff Coupler is a snap-on attachment that lets one handler walk two dogs on a single leash. It uses 25mm webbing, stainless steel hardware and has no plastic fittings.

Rogue Royalty SupaTuff Dog Leashes

A leash is only as strong as its weakest point, and that is usually the stitching, the clip or the handle join. SupaTuff leashes are box-stitched and reinforced at the handle, head latch and joins, using 6-ply bonded polyamide thread.

The hardware is stainless steel throughout, including the clip, latches, keepers and D-ring, with double-pronged stainless steel buckles. There are no plastic buckles or fittings anywhere. The webbing is weather and water resistant, rot, rust and mildew resistant, and colourfast.

On the Standard, Heavy Duty and short handle leashes the handle is leather-padded, which is more comfortable in the hand when a dog hits the end of the lead. For handlers, trainers and owners of large breeds who have already worn through cheaper leashes, that is the reason to buy once. Pair a SupaTuff leash with a SupaTuff collar or SupaTuff harness for a matched system.

How to choose the right SupaTuff leash

Start with length. A 30cm or 60cm leash gives the most control in crowded places. A 120cm leash suits normal walking and gives the dog some room. The 6ft training leash is about 183cm for training and open spaces.

Then check the webbing width. The Standard leash uses 25mm webbing and the Heavy Duty leashes use 30mm. The wider the dog and the harder it pulls, the more the extra 30mm width and the bull snap help.

Look at the clip. The Standard leash has a stainless steel D-shackle clip. The Heavy Duty, 60cm and 30cm leashes have a stainless steel bull snap.

For a dog that pulls seriously, use the leash with a dog harness for strong dogs and keep a dog ID tag on the collar, so force is spread across the chest rather than the neck. If you are measuring for a collar or harness at the same time, use our size guide.

On the guarantee: every SupaTuff leash has a lifetime guarantee, which covers manufacturer faults for the lifespan of the dog. Damage from chewing or rough use is not covered, so read the guarantees page before you buy.
